1. What ever happened to the covers album by Tommy and Jack Blades?

2. Is there any word on when the symphony show will be broadcast?

The symphony show and its DVD release are supposed to be sometime in late October/early November, I believe. Shaw Blades? No eyed dear.

1. No record label interest, and it's sitting in the can.

2. Due out holiday time, and will not be the full show that was recorded (as most live albums are edited, so is this).

You can thank the aweful sales of The Big Dud for this
Nobody was interested in a STYX cover cd and nobody certainly is interested in any Shaw Blades cover cd.

My O this will never see the light of day
To many people to pay.

I would have bought the Shaw Blades cd. The cover song they did on the Aerosmith tribute cd was awesome, as was Shaw's Kiss song. And the 12 days of Christmas Shaw Blades did was the best version of the song in years-ERIC

Online could work, but limiting it to iTunes is silly. Not everyone uses an iPod. And to wait so long only to get it at lossy compression ruins it for me anyway.

If they wanted to release it so badly, they could have done it themselves (through a website or something like cdbaby.com), found some small label, or just done online distribution.

I doubt it will see the light of day.
