Tune in Dennis is on again - I guess they thought his performance was worth bringing him back..
If you listen closely you can hear that same guy up in Chicago cursing loudly and throwing things.

All I know it's going to be one of Dennis' rocking songs. I would guess it would be "Born For Adventure", just kidding, probably "Rockin' The Paradise". Any other guesses. I seriously don't know.
Sebastian Bach is going to be on tonight too.

I think that it's great that DDY will be on tonight. Keep the word STYX out there. It can only mean good things for the band!!
I say he sings Babe.

I could guess, but I don't wanna give anything away.
I am betting the song he sings is PERFECT for duets and perfect for he and Hal.
and as for the band - fuck them. The band for the show is better than them anyway.[/i]

Lady...sounded nice. Yep and they even showed Suzanne...again. Too bad I had to suffer through the ENTIRE show before they finally showed Dennis. Nice to see him get a little publicity.
On a somewhat related note...that Lucy Lawless looks HOT as a blonde.

Lucy was always a blonde...shocked me too when I first found that out.
Dennis and Hal did great. Absolutely loved that rendition...though I don't know that I would call Lady an outright rocker.
Loved his outfit too. LOL
Way to end the show!!!!

I've been watching Lucy and her recurring role on Battlestar Gallactica. Not only is she hot as hell, but she's an extremely talented actress, and a pretty good singer.
I really enjoyed her singing Fly Me To The Moon with Smokey Robinson

Darn...I missed Hal with Sebastian Bach, but I did see the others. I think they all did reasonably well. I see Alfonso winning it overall.

I heard it on the radio on the way home tonight, I can pick up the Fox network. I cried and cried and cried. I always fricken cry when I hear that song live. On the radio it sounded GREAT!
I'm so lucky it was taped tonight, so I was able to watch it right when I came home! I cried again, I love that song!
They're a GREAT combination!
It's GREAT that Dennis will be on tv more in 2007!! The Fox network loves him!!!
I'm SO happy !!!

Music Of Styx is #704 on Amazon. Which doesn't mean much in global scale, except that his record IS selling better on Amazon with the exposure.
What am immensely positive thing for Dennis in particular and the Music of Styx. I can tell you a lot of really positive things happened for Dennis both on and off stage last night.
What a cool experience this must have been for him!

It's great to read other message boards of people, mostly younger that had no clue who Dennis was and they posted great reviews about him and the performances
You're right, a LOT of positive things happened and that even led to more open doors with various media outlets. I do know that there are plans for tv in 2007, no clue what that will be.
I'm still so excited and happy!!!!

With shows like this, they save the BEST for last. Seriously, it was planned out for this
I'm glad I was able to hear it first on the radio

Yep keep the word Styx out there so more people can buy the older albums/cds and their Greatest Hits album which is rising again on Amazon. Glad to see his cd rising in sales too, it was pumped up enough last week and this week
I doubt it would help the current Styx, people want to see Dennis!!!!

Dennis looked really good last night! Very handsome. "Lady" turned out to be a good choice for them and they did a very nice vocal harmony on it.
Ash, after Dennis' first appearance on this show, Greatest Hits went to 249 on Amazon, and that was a few days after.
Lastly, though the ratings for this show have dropped considerably, the first appearance for Dennis had close to 6 million viewers and I believe this one had close to 4 million. Not bad exposure for him.
I liked all the performances of the 3 finalists with their chosen artists.

It was an embarrassment. DDY has been reduced to nothing more then a dog and pony show!

Oh please!!!! I know you're just trying to get "us" DDY fans all fired up!
At least the music of Styx is still out there and alive again, can't say much for 85% of the bands from that era that you don't hear about anymore!
It was great!! I just heard from non-Styx fans and how they loved watching Dennis and Hal last time and this time.
You're just trying to get on my bad side! HAH

We need to pass Journey and get back to the top of the board.

I like to mix it up now and then.

LOL, I only have time to post about 100 posts a day per forum and I always have a lot to talk about - LOL
Then we need to add a Booze, Sex, Porn threads and also fight heavy among ourselves - LOL
Some of those threads are fun. I do love Journey and I'm glad they have a new singer

Oh yes....now there is a productive use of time. LOL
Perhaps we should have the thread about what kind of shirt the guitar player wears
Oh....and I liked the dog and pony show

No.... You are an embarassment.
JY is a SERIOUS embarassment. Talk about sour grapes/sore loser/jaded asshole. Unlike JY, people WANT to like Dennis... They hear JY talk ABOUT dennis and go "who the hell is this loser?". Why is that? Because people barely know JY's name in relation to Styx. Thats how bad it is for him.
If Styx had been on this show, you would be talking about it legitimized them.
And for the record, I never said Amazon counts - I said "for what it is worth". It's always a positive sign tho.
But frankly, you're a Styx Kool-aid drinker (or bathwater drinker as the case may be) so - it's not like I'm doing anything productive by pointing these things out.

All we'd need to do is post something on the order of 500 posts per day per person and we'd jump right to the top!

Trust me...jealousy over the forum you frequent most often...not from this girl.
But hey...it does pass the time. Enjoy yourself over there
