Glen's home to be broken into.. and you can watch it happening!

Be sure to tune in to The Discovery Channel on Monday - October 16, 2006 and watch the Season Premiere of "It Takes A Thief".

You can see how former thieves Jon Douglas Rainey and Matt Johnston educate Glen's family on keeping their home secure by literally breaking into their house and robbing them.. all while they watch from a closed-circuit tv van outside.

That sounds like something Glen would want to be a part of. Cool. Thanks.

I'll bet JY is behind this...he wants to get his hands on stuff that That Other Guy took from him years ago. 8)

Wow. Poor Glen!

This was a really interesting show. Glen, wife and daughter live in a gorgeous neighborhood. His wife, Rosie, is so pretty and his daughter is just as pretty as can be. (Cute kitties, too)

All that aside, they had nothing to protect the valuable stuff in his house. (A lock of Elvis' hair!!  )

Amazing guitar collection. A few Styx references (they took his gold EOTC awards).

It was truly surprising how trusting they were. They, literally, had not one security feature at their home. Not even an outside light! And this is a nice, nice home.

Anyway, I enjoyed the show. Felt bad for Glen and family, but they sure learned a valuable lesson.

Thanks for the head's up on this one, NH.

Just watched the last half of it. Very interesting show. I was amazed how Glen has changed since I last saw him with Styx. He still looks so much younger than his age. His house looked just like any other house. You know you expect a rock star to be living in the dream home with all the crazy stuff but he lives just like the rest of us. It makes me like him even more!

This was a pretty good show.

I hope the guitar that guy threw on the floor was a fake that they planted just for the show. That guy was pretty rough, but I guess if you are theif, you wouldn't be nice and leave everything neat.
Also if you notice the Styx reference was not hit on to much, it was barely mentioned 2 or 3 times.

I am sure the guitar was a "plant." I think it was the same one Glen used to try to smash the window.

Not many Styx references, if you don't count the big "Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto" one of the guys said prominently at the end! :D

Most shows like this, you have to take certain things with a grain of salt. My guess is, they took a lot better care of what they "stole" than the viewer is led to believe.

Plus, the Burtnik family got a free-of-charge complete security system in return for allowing their home to be trashed.

Lastly, it was funny, but these two guys had not a clue who Glen was.
