I'm thinking about going to see him at his show in Wilkes-Barre on the 18th and am wondering if anyone has a recent set list so I could see what he's been performing.
Thanks in advance

Saw him January, but not recently. If you want to hear some stuff you haven't heard live before from his solo work, then go see him.

aside from Grand Illusion and Lady, if Styx plays it - Dennis Doesn't.
Regardless of his set list, and it changes from show to show, it's worth the trip if you haven't seen him, or even if you have.

I want to go!!! I hope you have fun and post a review after, please
I posted his set list somewhere on here, I know he changes a few songs here and there. I don't want to wreck it for you, but if you insist - LOL
It goes something like this:
Grand Illusion
Lady
Desert Moon
Lorelei
Pieces Of Eight
Show Me The Way
Castle Walls
Light Up
Debussy's "Clair de Lune"
Don't Let It End
Mr. Roboto
Rockin' The Paradise
Suite Madame Blue
Babe
Best of Times
Encore:
Come Sail Away
Since Glen is there he'll be adding "Edge of the Century" and maybe "All in a Day's Work". He also rotates: "Pieces of Eight", "I'm Okay", "Black Wall", "Harry's Hands", "Borrowed Time" and "Queen of Spades" here and there and also the famous "First Time", it depends on his mood

Has he done "Harry's Hands" since that first set of orchestral shows? I've seen DDY quite a bit and that was the only show I saw (the 1st Rosemont one) where it was played. Haven't seen "First Time" yet, either.
Since DDY is dipping into the vault, there are a few songs I'd love to see (most would be done more at an orchestral show, but ...) - "Back to Chicago", "Goodbye Roseland", "Call Me" (which I'm surprised he's never done since he has gone solo), Claire De Lune/Ballerina, "Why Me", "Nothing Ever Goes As Planned" (#1 on my list from the Styx era), "Don't Wait For Heroes" (another surprise he hasn't done this one), "It's In Every One Of Us" (get rid of the a capella SMTW for this gem).

Well I'll post Dennis's setlist from Edmonton on Saturday/Sunday.
Here's what Dennis played in Calgary on July 11th (not in any real order)..
Grand Illusion
Lady
Lorelei
Pieces Of Eight
Castle Walls
Light Up
Don't Let It End
Mr. Roboto
Edge of the Century (Glen was there)
Rockin' The Paradise
Great Balls of Fire (Cover - Dennis Sang)
Gonna Have Some Fun Tonight (Cover - Glen sang)
Suite Madame Blue
Babe
Best of Times
Encore:
Come Sail Away
This was more of a rocking set, he played about 110 minutes. No Desert Moon or Show Me The Way, but we got a 2nd Glen tune, so all was great!

I thought he did "Harry's Hands" in St. Louis this year or last year. Or was it "Don't Wait For Heroes"? It was one of those or was it in Phoenix? LOL
He did "First Time" a couple times now. My brother saw the "premiere" of the song in NYC. No one knew he was going to do it, not even him (LOL), he just started to play and sing it.
He did "Back to Chicago" in Chicago I think in 2004 or was it 2005? I know he started out with it and he was sick that night too, fighting a cold. Fricken great song!!!
I don't think he'll ever do "Why Me", but then again I didn't think he was going to do "I'm Okay" - LOL
He has a few surprises for 2007!

he did Harry's Hand's in January here in STL, SMB. No Don't wait for heroes this time around. I'd gladly take Harry's over Heroes anyday.
You were there at the Tuhill?

Thank you!! It was driving me crazy which song and where - LOL. I think he might be adding "Don't Wait For Heroes" only for a few shows. I know he mentioned it a while back.
No I wasn't there, I wish I was. I've only been to 20 shows, yep I'm bragging. I'm planning on going to the Wisconsin, Chicago and Montreal shows next year, maybe if there's an Atlanta show too.

no problem. I hope he makes it back here soon.
You've got to come here for a concert at the Tuhill sometime, small but great venue. (Literally right down the street from my house about 4 miles.)
Got any of his solo stuff available on DVD?

I'd love to come down there! I've never been there before and I love road trips to concerts!!
I think the only solo stuff I have on DVD are his videos that were released. There's a few on You Tube. Did you see the footage from Celebrity Duets? Or Star Academie??

Thanks for the infor everyone. I was hesitant on it, but seeing those two sets pushed me over the edge. I'm not that much into Styx, but do like a good amount of their music, and the thought of seeing Roboto live is very intriguing. I wish they would do "Love Is The Ritual" with Glen.

I can't remember if they did that song yet. You never know what they might do, that's why I love to go to all the shows that I can, I don't want to miss out.
I hope you have fun, I don't think you'll be disappointed. The only one that I remember that wasn't happy was Monker.

When I saw him in Milwaukee, Babe was perfectly timed for a bathroom break.

Oh that's right, Monker and Dave here that didn't care for Dennis' concert!
"Babe" is a great song for making out and being with someone close! Or slow dancing or doing whatever.

The best version of Babe was at the Park West a few years ago

Wow, Harry's Hands! Didn't know he'd added that to some of his shows. And the rotation of greats like Borrowed Time, I'm Ok and Don't Wait For Heroes certainly makes one want to see more of his shows.

If he is really serious about his CD coming out this spring......(I am in the believe-it-when-I-can-buy-it category on this) ...... anyway, maybe he will slot in a few of his new songs.
I do think it is nice that he changes up the setlists here and there.
