I'll post these, but I swear to God, if this turns into a bashing thread, I will haunt you when I die. They are from Glen's Xmas show 2000 when Styx turned up for a few songs. The first is a Tom O'Leary Christmas Carol sung by JY (with no guitar in hand!), then there is "Ring the Bells," one of the Xmas tunes you will hear on the new DVD, as well as "All I Want for Christmas," which we probably all know already. The last one is just...well, it wouldn't be a Styx show without it. lol

For what it's worth, I just added a handful more RealAudio files to that directory that Ash mentioned - including one of the interview the band gave at their last performance with DDY that included this comment that didn't mean a whole lot at the time, but now it makes perfect sense:

"So what's it like for you guys to still have the magic?"

Dennis: ".....when you get a certain group of guys together, some magic happens, ....and the parts are not replaceable, and I think that's what we have here. It's just very special."

I also added an unreleased DDY tune that was left off his Broadway album (as was Pinball Wizard) - it's one of the most beautiful vocal performances I've ever heard. It's called "Tell Me On A Sunday". Go listen.

Dog Collar Man is on there, and a couple of other interviews. I have all the "In The Studios" and a good Rockline from '99 I'll throw on there when I have time.

(By the way, not sanctioned by Burtnik at all - I'm just putting the songs on the same server I put his website on, that's all.)

My sincere thanks. No bashing from me. I don't dispute talent. All the clips are appreciated.

As a side bar, I have often wished that Dennis had chosen to keep Tell Me on a Sunday over some of the songs that made the cut on that cd.

Peace
