I'm going to guess Paradise Theatre because it was their best selling album?

I love trivia, especially Styx Trivia :)

I didn't even know this when I researched this a few years ago!! Were there actually 2 albums nominated?

Cornerstone and Kilroy?

http://www.ears-chicago.org/eardrum/2005.08.shtml

DURING THAT TIME GARY LOIZZO HAS RECEIVED OVER A DOZEN GOLD AND PLATINUM RECORDS AND HAS BEEN GRAMMY NOMINATED TWICE FOR ENGINEER OF THE YEAR FOR THE STYX ALBUMS, "CORNERSTONE" AND "KILROY". HE HAS ACHIEVED 2 UNITY AWARDS FOR PRODUCER OF THE YEAR (SIMMONITA-THE ROSERY) AND BEST ENGINEER/PRODUCER OF A CHILDRENS ALBUM (TINY HANDS-ROSE RUDOLF).

Nevermind, I answered my own question. I had no clue that Kilroy was even nominated. Am I the only one that didn't know this??

The award wasn't about the song quality of the album. The award is for best engineer. I have to admit, Kilroy was a very good sounding album.

Correct. It was Cornerstone. You know that album that so many of you claimed "ruined" Styx. Well it was the only album that they as a group (not their engineers) were nominated for a grammy. And that would be critics too, wouldn't it?
