Just Plain Folks (www.jpfolks.com) is a community of over 40,000 songwriters, recording artists, and many others in the music industry. They received more than 25,500 albums and 350,000 songs from 105 countries. Winners for the 2006 awards were announced on Friday, November 4th. Dennis won in the following categories:

Best Contemporary Song: Who Will Love This Child
Best Theater Album: The Hunchback Of Notre Dame--A Musical

Are these really awards? Seems a little late to award that song and album.

Went to the website and looked at the listings myself. He is listed sure enough. Not sure why it took this long to award him for it. Might be since he has been on tv a good bit lately, people are starting to take notice more.
