If Styx did what Meat Loaf did...

Let's say DDY and JY patch things up and they all get back together to work on new music. But they realize that most of the mainstream folks who buy CDs have forgotten about them, so they follow the same path that Meat Loaf did in 1992 when he put out a sequel to his 1977 album Bat Out of Hell.

Which album do you think Styx would slap a "II" designation on? My vote would be "Grand Illusion II". Somehow I doubt "Kilroy" would get a sequel...unless it is found out that DDY has nude pictures of JY and is blackmailing him. :D

I would hope for Equinox.
But obvious answers to me would be GI or PT.

Wow.. If the 20th Anniversary of the Grand Illusion tour was in 77.. they're really looking good for their age in 2007, the 50th Anniversary tour!

I think Styx should do what Journey did on Generations. They went into the studio with the motto 'Lets let EVERYONE belt out a tune or two'.

You get to hear their bus driver, booking agent, guitar tech, cook, you name em and they get to sing.

I believe on the CD jacket they thank the manager of a Motel Six for his powerful backing vocals on the song 'Butterfly'.

What a concept!!!!
