So much for the "Glen is only going to get one song from hereon out" theory that was posited by some anti-DDYers.

I'm sorry, I must have missed where they said Glen would be singing lead on any of them. Last I checked, "perfoming together" means playing the songs together, period.

I imagine they'll likely do about the same like they did last time. I mean hell - Glen fronted or shared lead on five or six songs the last time out. And the last time I checked, that was 4 or 5 more than he sang lead on during his tenure in DFB. Of course, those shows were worth going to see right? Even though Glen had only one song? (had to get that in). Plus - perhaps they'll have one of those songs off Dennis' new album to sing together.

Could you imagine if they did a song like Renegade or Blue Collar Man with Glen singing lead? I would likely give my right arm for that :)

That was going to be a question I was going to ask. Why couldn't Glen do Tommy songs? DFB is doing DDY's songs. That would be great to see.

What interest could either of them possibly have in doing that, when they have so much of their own material to work with?

Exactly. And haven't we heard ENOUGH Renegade and BCM?

I'm going by what Queenie posted - that Glen will NOT be doing gigs like the ones you saw. Nothing more. Now, she could be mistaken, but when it comes to Glen, she usually isn't, that's all.

It was worth seeing because it wasn't the Dennis and Suzanne show (been there, done that, didn't buy the tee-shirt, tho) with Glen Burtnik as one of the backing musicians. For me, Glen is the only reason I would go see Dennis live a second time. If he only gets to sing one song, it would definitely not be worth the investment (for ME).

If they came to South Florida, however, I'm sure I would go. But I ain't travelling to see the show as it is now. I can get 2+ hours of Glen at his solo shows, and I won't have to withstand DDY to get it.

Sorry I asked. :)

Anti-DDY'er? lol I can honestly say that nobody has ever put me in THAT catagory before! Folks, Glen will be singing lead on one song, then joining DDY's band (on rhythm guitar) for the remainder of the show. Nobody would be happier than I to be wrong, but these are the facts as I've confirmed them.

My suggestion.. go see the DeYoung shows, and enjoy Glen playing music with Dennis, and then come see a Burtnik solo show, and get to hear him playing music AND singing! Glen has a show coming up in Philly @ the Tin Angel on Feb. 24th, and it's gonna be amazing!

Trust me!

ON the Lost Treasure shows you will probably get Glen singing or swapping lead with Dennis on 4 - 5 songs.

On the other shows where Glen plays in Dennis's band he will probably sing lead on one song and then swap lead with Dennis on one other.

If you really want to hear him sing and cant attend one of his solo shows I suggest that you get there for their sound check. I did that last summer at a DDY show. Glen arrived 45 minutes prior to Dennis and he played, sung and just messed around up on stage.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
