It's pretty sappy DDY. Don't get me wrong, I do like some of his sappy stuff, like "When I Hear A Christmas Song", but "A Love Foretold" doesn't do it for me.

I subscribe to Rhapsody, and both of these songs are available there - as well as The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

I actually bought the book.. and I've probably listened to that track three or four times tops(since 2004).

It's not one of his better efforts. It was a pretty simpy song, and while this actually worked in his favor on "Goodnight My Love", that was not the case here. I will say that it has a somewhat appealing chorus, but.. I can't remember off the top of my head, but I know there were a couple of lines during the verses that I just found pretty hard to stomach.
