According to published reports, Dennis DeYoung admitted that most of his songwriting credits in Styx should actually have gone to Robert Fleischman. Dennis said he did come up with the Lyrics to "Renegade", but that otherwise he had no musical input into Styx whatsoever. Additionally, he never actually played the piano and keys live; Alan "Fitz" Fitzgerald actually played them offstage and Dennis merely "finger synched" his parts. He was, after all, in Styx for his good looks, not his talent.
