Taking a look at the link it appears that Styx and Foreigner will be playing on some of the dates when Def Leppard is headlining. Are you sure they are playing at all the ones you list above (I think you only removed the festival dates)? They are already playing 3 dates at Rama this summer (would they play Rama and in Toronto in the same season?).

Well dont' forget Rama is NOT anywhere near Toronto.. Rama is about 2 hours north..

So yeah, they will play 3 dates at Rama in May, then the one day with Def Leppard..

Will be interesting to see what kind of press Styx gets in Toronto.. this is the first time they've been back since the whole SARS fiasco back in 03..

Also, I believe this will be the 1st time the non-Dennis Styx will be performing at a large venue in Montreal too, again radio station (CHOM) and fanbase that were choked that Styx cancelled Montreal even though there wasn't one case of SARS reported in Montreal at all..

Well, its more like 90 mins to Rama from TO. I used to spend my summers near what is now the casino and did day trips to friends with summer homes in the area more recently. It really is not that far (provided you don't go in the Friday afternoon traffic). If I have incorrectly assumed that the people who have attended at Rama in the past were from TO it may because I was wondering who would be attending. Other than Barrie, the surrounding areas are not exactly population centres without the summer cottagers from TO.

IM excited, Styx in Oklahoma City in Sept. I want to know if it will be all 3 or just 2 groups. I would rather just see Styx and Foreigner, thats it!!

I'll give this one a shot for sure! I'm glad they're coming back and I don't have to drive all the way to Rama. Plus, I've always wanted to see Def Leppard.

If shows start at 7:00 and end at 11:00, then we are looking at 45-50 minute sets from Styx and Foreigner and 90 minutes from Def Leppard.

Not worth it in my opinion, even though I wouldn't mind seeing each band.

Its clear only some of the Def Leppard dates are with Styx. As predicted, no Toronto.

I've checked styxworld three times today and every time they have added dates. They are probably still loading the page withthe summer dates. But, would be no surprise if they didn't do Toronto. Even Tommy has said that They and Management over-reacted at the time.

Yes they are still loading the dates.. last time I checked it was up til Sept 15, and in the last few minutes they've added the phoenix and Las Vegas dates.

Still no Toronto (go figure! lol)

Edmonton Alberta.. Sept 30th to end the tour!

Wild man.. wild!

Serious question here folks, did Def Leppard outsell the other two in their respective careers? I honestly do not know, by the way I like Def Leppard too.

Lord, I think so.

Def Leppard's Pyromania and Hysteria were two huge GLOBAL albums.. Hysteria though being the bigger of the two.

I would think Def Lep has sold about 100 Million world wide.

But many Def Lep fans think that this tour is a joke because of the openers, and they think that Def Lep can be back on top of the charts, etc (like X didn't send the message home lol) and they want bands like MCR, Hinder or Nickelback 'opening' for them.

They don't realize that Def Lep is doing just like every other band is doing, touring because of the cash.. and the US is an easy market.

90 bucks for three bands? who wouldn't do that especially since there really aren't any other big classic rock tours happening due to either difunctionality (Van Halen) or an untimely passing (Brad Delp - RIP).

Will it be as big as the Journey/Def Lep tour, who knows..

Well, since there will be no Styx in Toronto, I will be going to the DTE Energy Music Theatre Gig in Michigan on July 24th

According to riaa.org, Def Leppard has sold 35 million, Styx has sold 17.5 million, and I did not see Foreigner listed. (These are US sales only). Here's the link if anyone cares to check it out: http://www.riaa.com/gp/bestsellers/topartists.asp

It never ceases to amaze me how difficult it is to come by worldwide sales figures, especially in this information age. Oh well.

Foreigner came in at 36.5 on your link.

I would pay $1000 to see this show!!!! It will be the best show ever. I love Def Leppard and the new Styx. They are much better than the old Styx. They provide excitement and have very nice vocals and they play really well. J.Y. especially has a wonderful voice. He could be one of the three tenors! I really like this group. I once got a guitar pick from Tommy. I was just all giddy and stuff. Oh I just can't wait to see this!
