ddy AC reviews?
where are the reviews?

Probably not here. I have seen one elsewhere. Glen acoustic numbers, DDY new song, in the setlist.

Sounded like a good show.

?????????
(this was 1/2 the band starting Desert Moon, and the other 1/2 starting something else. Dennis said this has never happened before in his career. Hank made a joking comment about wanting to "complete" that missing part of his career--or something to that effect)

What a bunch of hacks!!!!!!
Typical weekend bar band!

Happens to the best of us. Like Styx always has a flawless show

The point is that they made what could have been a bad moment a joke. It's all in the recovery.

Exactly, Allen. It happens. Even consumate professionals are only human. At least they recovered with humor. *shrug*

Although I can guarantee you that DDY was probably not happy after the show, it's all about how you come off on stage. Yelling at your bandmates on stage is not good form.

Oh. no doubt about the first part (hope he's mellowed in his age). And no, yelling on stage wouldn't be good for saving face, not that it hasn't happened in the past.

I did not start this topic to make a debate out of this! I simply just wanted to know how the concert went! it's ashame that one person had to make rude comments! To that person I would tell you to go see a ddy show! and don't pass judgement until you see the show for yourself!

Wish I'd been able to make it this year. Many of us here had a such a wonderful time in A.C. last year! Looks like it was yet another great show despite the glitches. Thanks for the reviews link styxfansite.

Stick around here long enough. You'll see this is par for the course for any thread which involves either Styx or DDY that doesn't refer to the classic years.

There was no visible anger or yelling that happened on stage. When it happened I had an "oh no" feeling as far as how the situation was going to be handled. And I would really doubt that Hank would have made the joking comment he made if he thought there was going to be a severe yelling session after the show.

Personally, a live show is absolutely no fun without all of the little unexpected items appearing during the set. If you want to hear something perfect, listen to the studio recordings.
