Has anyone else noticed this on Youtube?

It's a link of Styx apparently doing Suite Madame Blue sometime at the beginning of the year.

Could this possibly mean that they are at least considering doing a slight set lists update. I'd like to believe that, but I think I will need more facts to convince me. What do you guys think?

And, yes, froy, I bet Dennis does do it better. I'll let you know for sure after his May 11th show.

SMB they've done on and off - they always do it in Canada no matter what. So it's not really a change.

WOW- Gowan sounds like Dennis from 75. Cool!

OK, at the risk of siding with Froy, this one just always gets me. Gowan sounds like Dennis? Look, I don't mind Gowan's voice, and I like his song-writing just fine, but in no way does he sound like Dennis. He just doesn't have the same type of voice at all. Gowan's got one of those high nasal voices, kind of like a smoother Bob Dylan or something. They aren't even in the same league, Dennis has a perfect, incredible, glorious voice. Gowan has an "ok" voice, but my point isn't really about the quality, but about how different they are.

Come on man, are ye' totally deaf? :-) Or are you really just trying to play froy-bait?

In 99 he did sound more like Dennis as he was trying harder to mimic Dennis' style. Once it was clear that Dennis was't coming back (the lawsuit) Larry moved more to himself. I agree with you that now Larry sings them in his own style and sounds very little like Dennis. But there was a time when the comparison had more teeth.
