Don't know if anyone has mentioned or noticed, but both Dennis and Styx will be playing in the Chicagoland area on the same night. Saturday June 30th. Dennis will be in Lisle at the Balloon Fest and Styx will be playing the midwest bank theatre( worst venue I've been too) in Tinley Park. Just thought is was interesting.

I'm not keeping track of numbers ... Styx opening for bands like Def Leppard and Deep Purple are great ideas as it gets them in front of new crowds.

DDY is playing decent venues on his own and who cares if it's a "beer tent" or a theater? It's not like Styx hasn't done them, either.

Both sides are not doing anything vastly different from each other. Life would be so much happier if people realized it.

Styx will be the first band on the list - no one will be coming to see them and their 45 minute set. Its all about Def Leppard..

Maybe 2000 will be in the arena, the lights will be on, and what few folks are there will not be paying a damn bit of attention to what the joke is on stage.

After seeing Leppard last year, I think Styx can blow them off the stage. Foreigner probably can, too.

Yes, TS, CP, and JY will drive out to Lisle, IL (about 25 miles) after the Styx show to sit in for the last song at DDY's show. Chuck is setting it all up!

The only thing close to a joke on stage is DDY and his bar band (only exception being GB). Keep the decibels at senior citizen level boys.
