A new review on Chuck's Book.

My admiration doesn't extend to his writing style, however, and I guess on this count one has to point a finger at co-writer Michele Skettino. Panozzo may have come up with the lyrical hook to the Styx hit "Show Me the Way," but he's not a writer and doesn't claim to be. Yet, for a book that's had the benefit of a professional co-writer and (presumably) copy editing, it has far too many errors and misprints. When I see a celebrity autobiography with a co-writer credited by name, I expect a competent text, and I have to say that in a literary sense, Ms. Skettino and the publisher's editorial staff seem to have let our hero down.

That would be my only real complaint (albeit a minor one) as well.

ack! i used to date one of the original good rats! (quite some time after he left the band though...lol).

still waiting for my copy of chucks book. i think it was shipped today (yeah, i didn't get a chance to order it until recently). I'm REALLY looking forward to this one. Chuck is a sincere person. I met him a few times, and he was always warm and receptive.

oh damn, I missed the quotation marks! The Wings are tied with the Donald Ducks 2-2, with 2 of the 3 to be played in Detroit....All they have to do is hold serve! Senators are up 3-1 on the Sabers.

yeah, welll the sabres won the battle of NY, eliminating the islanders (pout) and rangers (yea!!!!). they're a tough team, they might pull this one off. don't know much about those west coast teams, but the ducks always seem to do well. good luck, hope your wings kick some tail.

Thanks for the effort to make me happy, Stacy, but to be truthful I kinda liked it better w/o the quotes BTW, The Wings are down 3-2 with game 6 tonight in Anaheim. They're going to have to pull off the same kind of comeback they did in '02 when they went to Denver and beat the Avs in 6 then won 7 in Detroit on their way to winning the cup. :::fingers crossed:::
