As I blow any credibility I might have ever had, I will now admit that I used to play in a band that covered "Nobody's Fool". I had hair that defied the Laws of Gravity back then, LOL. I have to say, I still think that's a great song of its kind. Simple but effective.
I hope all is well.

"Nobody's Fool" is a damned great song, regardless of whether or not Tom Keifer wrote and "sang" it. Only on this song and "Heartbreak Station" were his vocals tolerable. GREAT song.

Never liked the vocal on this one. Would it have killed Kiefer to pull out his "Nobody's Fool" or "Coming Home" voice for the quiet bits?

I must say, while I love that song, I can't help but laugh when I hear it.
When I saw them open for Poison last summer (I am 19, and wanted to see one of the few bands that put on a big show like the hair bands did in their hey-day), my buddy and I laughed our faces off when they played it. It was great to hear that goofy song live.
Because of that song I have officially named the condition of "realizing what you had when you lose it" Cinderella syndrome.

LOL! Dennis' "Desert Moon" video, quiet going-home story, has got NOTHING on those cheesetastic hair band vids of the 80's!
I always liked that Cinderella song, though.

The song would have been great if the vocals were...well...completely different. I understand that Kiefer was trying to give Cinderella this "scary" vocal sound to go along with the "metal" sound, but I don't care if you're a heavy metal band or not, if you're going to do a ballad, at least have the vocals fit the ballad. I mean, he did it for Coming Home...at least for the verses.

cinderella had some good songs. They were good song writers, or Kieffer was.
Coming Home is an awesome song.
