INTRODUCING GLEN BURTNIK'S SYNCHRONICITY:
Some interesting news just in from one of my favourite singer/songwriters in the business. Glen Burtnik has himself a new touring project, set to play the music of The Police.
Here's the blurb from Glen: "Glen Burtnik is launching a new project called Glen Burtnik's Synchronicity - The Music of the Police. Their first "official" show will take place this coming Sunday June 10th in Philadelphia at the Tin Angel, showtime is 7:00 PM (more info at www.tinangel.com or www.myspace.com/gbsyncronicity).
Glen Burtnik's Synchronicity is the combination of three exceptionally talented musicians recreating the phenomenal music of The Police. Synchronicity is a trio of acclaimed musicians, including renowned singer/bassist Glen Burtnik (Meat Loaf, Styx, Celine Dion, ELO, Patty Smyth & Don Henley), skillful firebrand guitarist Jimmy Leahey (John Waite) and astounding newcomer prodigy Odell Davis on drums.
Drawing from his experiences portraying Paul McCartney in the Broadway smash Beatlemania and his work with The Fab Faux, Burtnik incorporates the high production standards of professional theater as well as the rock show sensibilities from his years performing in internationally touring rock bands.
A must "see to believe" band, the level of excitement, professionalism and musicality places Synchronicity is a class high above tribute bands.
Synchronicity is a Concert Experience.

Not the best time to launch this project considering the real thing is touring this year (though with much higher ticket prices).
