Lisa and I are off to see Asia 3 times this week and in Clearwater Alan Parsons is the opening act .... both bands will have a lazer show with them.... and what is being billed as a lighting extravaganza

My question is anyone seen Alan Parsons live and if so was he any good ?

I saw them a LONG LONG time ago. I Robot or Eve I think. I believe that I saw them in Duluth, Mn.

Excellent Excellent show.

It was fairly short show if I remember correctly. That was the only negative.

The Project is one of the great live prog rock acts ever. Phenomenal musicianship.

If Parson's is by himself that would be interesting. He had all of those awesome vocalists on the albums. I am not sure if Alan ever took the lead vocals.

I'll be seeing the APLP in San Diego next Tuesday.

Saw them (with Kansas as the opener) back in 1995 at a great little seaside amphitheater by our pier here in Oceanside, CA. Also saw them with Yes a few years later.

Great live band, great show.

He sucks. He does ballads.
