Hi, everyone - I met Styx manager Charlie Brusco after noticing that he and his wife were sitting near me on a flight this weekend. I talked with him briefly, and he told me that he and the band were just coming from taping a television special with Adam Sandler that I believe is airing this week. I asked him about Chuck P's book and he said he was about to read it. I also asked him about any Styx reunion possibilities, and his response was "no way", and then after a pause, "at least not anytime soon." For someone who must be approached regularly in airports (he was wearing his Styx crew jacket), he was nice about my questions. I also mentioned I had last seen Styx at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, and he said they loved playing there.

It was a nice surprise to have the encounter...

Well at least he didn't say when they are playing hockey on the river styx. Of course the last time Hell Froze over, there was an Eagles Reunion. And another one after that.

I don't think he would have said sure we have a reunion planned on 7/7/07 for GI. *lol* That is why he back tracked and said not anytime "soon".

Yeah..sure you would have. You would have sat there like a quiet little boy. Yes Mr Brusco..I really love the group now. I think they are a thousand times better off without that dictator.

Nah... we'd have never heard about it. The people on the plane would have been brainwashed and froy would be on his way to Guantanamo Bay in an orange jumpsuit.
