So who's seen this tour yet? I'll be going on the 29th in milwaukee front row baby on tommy's side. I'm hoping for at least the 90min set but for those who have seen this bill already how long has the set been?

With 3 bands playing, Im guessing that Styx and Fornr will each play about 45 min. Def Lep will play about 1 hr 15 min including encores.

I've heard from both Def Leppard and Styx people that the set times will be the following:

Foreigner - 45 Minutes

Styx - 75 Minutes

Def Leppard - 90 Minutes

Doesn't sounds like a good deal to me considering how much tickets are priced for this show.

It will be a good show, I saw Def Lep and Journey last year. But this time we bought the cheap seat tickets on the grass for $27, I wouldnt pay $75 per ticket for Def Leppard (with no new music this year), and Fornr (without Lou Gramm.)

75mins? man that's a drag well a fyx is a fyx no matter how long they have to play. I hope though they will at least have 90min or more at marshfield next month and the crystal grand in october. See ya on the 29th.

Nope.. this year is not a co-headlining tour, so don't be surprised if Styx gets 60-75 minutes regardless if Foreigner is there or not.

I guess we will find out on the 27th what's what..

One has to wonder if they've added "Midnight Ride" to the setlist because they want to play a "harder" set since it's the Def Lep fans?

Sounds like it's in the setlist for awhile if Larry's letter to the Styx fans is any indication..

Adding a song like Midnight Ride would be a very good idea, they need to remember that most of the fans there are hard rock fans, and as much as I like the old Styx, 60 minutes of ballads would be more than I could handle. And I think the fans would turn on them if they tried that.

They need to play some rockers if they want a good response from the Leppard fans. Itll be interesting to see the set list. I saw Def Leppard last year, and even though they also have plenty of ballads, and soft pop tunes, they stuck to the rockers, and the crowd was into it.

And what about foreigner - have they toured with thier current singer before? How do they sound these days?

Styx has stuck to the rockers for the past 8 years! LOL It's nice to see they are unearthing some great older tunes like Midnight Ride, Love in the Midnight and Man in the Wilderness. I'd love to see all three of these added! it would be a welcomed change, that's for sure!

Foreigner has been touring with the new line up for a few years now. they opened for styx last summer. they were very good- their new singer Kelly Hansen isn't a lou grahm clone, which was fine. he has a strong voice and good stage presence. I also loved having another opportunity to see Jason Bonham. Saw him back in 87 with a few older geezers named Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones. ;) When Foreigner played the rock to the rescue show a few years ago, (02 i think???) it was clear that Lou Grahm had trouble hitting many of the notes. I know he'd been through a lot of surgery and had a long and difficult recovery. it was an admirable effort but not a good performance.
