Just got back from reo at summerfest and all I can say is just another great show. A few surprises as well. Allthough I didn't have the best's seats and the sound was pretty bad from time to time but it was still an awesome show none the less. Here is the setlist not in order of course but they did not open with don't let him go which really shocked me because they've been opening with that forever but they did do it later in the show (They opened with find your own way home). So here's the setlist for you junkies out there just kidding lol.

Find Your Own Way Home (New Song)
Music Man
Keep Pushin
Take It On The Run
I Needed To Fall (New Song)
Dangerous Combination (My Favorite New Song)
Smilin' In The End (Other Favorite New Song)
Flying Turkey Trot (Don't adjust your computer yes they did play that which was really a shocker)
Golden Country (Awesome!!!! only the second time ever hearing that)
Don't Let Him Go
Time For Me To Fly
Roll With The Changes
Tough Guys
Keep On Lovin You
Can't Fight This Feeling
Ridin The Storm Out
Back On The Road Again

I am dissapointed that they did not preform 157 riverside avenue AGAIN but hey what can ya do. Also during the middle to end of ridin' the storm out the fireworks started and it seemed mostly everyone paid attention to that instead so they played louder not bad though. Can't wait for styx tommorow got front row for that woohoo. See ya tommorow.

Froy does not like Styx. He is a DDY slow tune/show tune fan.

Yeah but you have to admit DDY's new CD has a lot of solid rockers and NO show tunes on it!

There's only like 3 songs that I contstantly skip because well, they are really bad songs (sorry but I did say PASS on three of them) but the other songs on his CD.. A must for all Styx fans of any generation/lineup.

That sounds like another great idea.. mix tunes from this CD and Cyclorama together to get a kick ass Styx CD!

I think I will do just that!

"CycloYears"
1) Rain
2) Kiss Your Ass Goodbye (Cause Well Glen is still kinda in Styx!)
3) One With Everything
4) I Believe In You
5) Save Me
6) These Are The Times
7) This Time Next Year
8) Just Be
9) Fooling Yourself Palm Of Your Hand (Cool intro to CNN)
10) Turn Off CNN
11) I Don't Believe In Anything
12) Together
13) Killing The Thing That You Love (What better way to bury the hatchet with the song supposedly about Dennis!)
14) Yes I Can
15) Crossing The Rubicon

Bonus Tracks:
16) Everything All The Time
17) All For Love
18) 100 Years From Now - English Version (With JY or Tommy or Glen doing the 2nd verse)

Yes I added the other "newer" Styx tracks, but I think they would work with some of the Dennis songs.

You've got a lot here for almost all generations of Styx fans..

Tommy Rockers
Tommy Ballads
Progressive Elements in Killing, One and Crossing
Dennis Rockers
Dennis Pop
Dennis Ballads
JY Rockers

And of course.. Glen Burtnik!

I omitted the two Gowan Styx songs.. but if I were to add them (weirder things have happened in music, look at the Doobies, Yes, Bad Company, etc) I would put "Fields" before These Are The Times and More Love after "Anything".

Flame away lol

UGH, I was planning to see REO but I was afraid that Kevin would be yakking all night. I'm glad you enjoyed the show and thanks for posting the setlist.

Are you planning to go to Summerfest this weekend? I might go either Friday or Saturday night. I'm not sure who I'm going to see yet :)

Obviously, you haven't heard the new DDY which blows away Cyclorama. Styx doesn't exist anymore... but enjoy Stynx.

It doesn't blow away Cyclorama. There are some good songs on both and some stinkers. It's just your boy could no longer come out and play because his mommy, i mean his wife wouldn't let him. The rest of the boys went on playing...end of story.

One of my friends went to that show and said Kevin did yak all night between all of the songs. He said they could have played at least 2 more songs if Kevin wouldn't have been so chatty. Still, impressive set list though.

For a "health nut", KC looks unhealthy to me. I mean it is ok to eat every now and then. Cudos for getting off the durgs, etc, but I think he is over the top with the healthy life style. They do put on a good show. They will be at the Hard Rock in Biloxi in October, I think we shall venture down the coast to ride the storm out.
