So does anyone know if that reception on 5/19 includes the show itself?

My understanding is that it's Opening Night. All tickets are General Admission and all seats are suppose to be great!

These tickets will be sold out probably by Tuesday now that the Opening Night has been announced 8) It's a very small, intimate venue.

I ordered 2 tickets to Paradise today............

Good to know. If it didn't, I was going to get a ticket to the 3:30 show the day before. That must be the last "preview".

I ordered my ticket for the 19th.

Now I have just over 10 months to convice Tim and DDY to let me get that interview I was promised in 2002 before that last Rosemont show with the orchestra lol

The shows listed before the Opening Night are the "workshop" shows. The reception on May 19th will follow the show :)

Are you going to meet the bunch of us for dinner before the show?? :D

I hope you'll have your interview before September!! :)

Workshop shows are fun - esp. early ones. But the reception was a no brainer.

We'll see about meeting before. If I'm going to be in Chicago, chances are I"ll trek up to Skokie to get some Kosher food if I have the chance. Since I'm rarely in Chicago and keep Kosher ... well, you get the idea.

I'll believe it when I see it (re: the interview). Personally, if it was do it now or wait until next year and do it in person, I'd wait. Although I will be in Chicago at the end of September for work ... again, I'll settle for a phoner but would love to do it face to face.

The good thing about 2002 vs. now is I have a whole batch of questions that I'm dying to ask whereas then it would have been shorter since not much had changed since 1999.

Ironically, this whole comical situation is almost as bad as what happened to me in '97 with Styx. It seems like this is just my history with Styx or DDY when it comes to getting interviews. Such is life. If this is the worst thing that happens to me in my life, I'm doing OK.[quote]
