My Apology About The Dennis Incident

After speaking with froy I have agreed to write this apology. Alright I admit even though this was hard for me to that I was in the wrong for booing at the end of the show/ returning the finger to dennis. I probably deserved what I got and I understand the backlash I recieved for it. So to everyone in Dennis's band and glen and to everyone else on this board I apologize for my actions. I guarentee this will never happen again. Although again this pains me very much to right this I admit that I was in the wrong and acted to immature for my age. I hope you all accept my apology and we can move on in our some what "frendly" debate on the current line up. And if anyone plans on going to marshfield to see them next friday I would love to speak with you about this situation but until then I apologize and I hope we can move on.
I AM SORRY

After speaking to Everett about this it seems as if it was not an intentional act on his part
He now knows how sensitive the situation is between Dennis and Styx
To stand in the first row with a Styx 2007 shirt on a boo after songs sure helped the finger to come out
Its now in the past and over with as far as Im concerned.
Good Job
Nightbull.

It takes a big person to admit when they're wrong and apologize, especially after being hit with a barage of personal attacks by a bunch of strangers. Your "actions" are more mature than a lot of people's, nightbull.

That "apology" seemed very insincere. I have been in utter hell for the past couple of days. Apology not accepted.

Can't believe Froy wants to boycot the pink, especially after all the things he says to Zan...

Hey Night Bull......there's no need for you to apologize " for Froy"............
and Life Giver, being emotionally involved to the point where your life is hell because of anything to do with
a rock and roll performer, or their fans/anti-fans isn't good for you.....I hope you can put all of this into a different perspective
life is too short to let anyone ruin even one day for you, ( at least in my opinion )
This group of posters behaves like a dysfunctional family........perhaps that is part of the fun of posting here ?

You could have just said kudos, instead of calling out people.

Oh sure, I could have, but I found it so amusing that this guy displayed better maturity than those who criticized him for being immature. Isn't it ironic, doncha think?
(And if you took me only half as seriously as you do, you might find we are not that different.)
(OK, maybe that's a stretch, but it might be less stressful for you)

How can you tell if someone is being sincere or not, when all you have is written words? So I have have to take the apology for what it is. Action speaks louder than words. Even if you didn't want to apologize, you did, so that is something, so I will give you a break-ERIC

life is too short to let anyone ruin even one day for you, ( at least in my opinion )
After the July 1999 Styx concert when I found out that Dennis wasn't in the band, I was so sad. Then going on the internet in 2000 and reading what was happening was a nightmare to me. How could this happen to MY band?? Being my favorite band since 1972 (I was 6 years old) I had no clue that there so many hard feelings. From all those Teen Beat, 16 and newspaper articles to seeing all over MTV I thought they were the best of friends. I had no clue. Then getting to know and becoming friends with various people I became more emotionally involved with a few camps. That's all changed, I go to these concerts and enjoy the music, the lyrics, the singing, the stage and being with family and friends.
LifeGiver, try to enjoy the music more
Classic is right, life is too short to let anyone ruin even one day for you!! This group of posters behaves like a dysfunctional family........perhaps that is part of the fun of posting here ?
Awwww, but I love this family on here!! (((HUGS))) It always has been fun to post on here
I'm glad to see you posting Classic

I think LifeGiver is a whack job if this person really takes this soooooo hard. Its a band... Thats it.
As for the Bull I still dont get WHY you went to the concert? ? Why?? You arrive early or push your way to the front, then you act like an idiot, boo Dennis amongst I am sure MANY other things. Then after you arrive home you IMMEDIATELY post here giving us your rendition and expect people to see things from your point of view.
After your 'assembly line' stating that Gowan was infinite times better than Dennis why in the hell would you go to a DDY show for reasons other than to start shit??
Pat yourself on the back, you did succeed in starting shit. The problem was Dennis and the rest of his band wouldnt take shit off of you. You ought to consider yourself lucky that he didnt have your ass tossed or that you didnt get it kicked.
To me you are exactly like the guy who robs the store gets his ass shot in the process and then has the nerve to sue the store owner and ask for publis sympathy.
But all is not lost you have got Zan on your side. Give her a call the next time DDY is in town!!!!
By the way I accept your apology?????????????????????????????????????????

With all the appologies going around, this place is going to look like one of the ending scene's from "The Naked Gun" where everyone is crying on each other and appologizing to each other.

I would respectfully ask that you don't resort to calling me a "whack job". Being someone who battles depression and has gone through some real emotional trauma, the term "whack job" hurts just a bit.
This may just be a band, but its a group of people I have been listening to for the better part of my life and their music has meant the world to me.
As for nightbull, I think that anyone who tries to make tense situations worse enjoys drama. I, therefore do not think his apology is anything more than just more seed to make everyone upset. This person should not be applauded for their maturity.

If you take the split of a band that hard....... what's a better word to use??????
Crazy??????? Nuts?????? Retarded??????? Lobe Damaged??????
How could you possibly care that much????
It really doesnt amount to shit.
The only ones who should really care to any sort of degree are those that are actually in the band.
Damn,.....You need help!!!!

Yogi,
Not sure about the apology, but I could be wrong. Something tells me Shane doesn't think so. But to each their own. Each of us has to live with the decisions they make and with the way they behave toward others. Some people call it character. And to have character and be a character are two totally different things.

Shane,
At the end of each day do you realize that each band member is gamefully employed, hopefully healthy, doing what they want to do, and probably living with a sizeable bank account.
They are not depressed over the situation, why should you be???????
On on a brighter note: WE basically have two Styx products out there and active after 30 plus years. It's ALLLLL GOOD!!!
P.S. I had 4 private E-mails(PM'S) about the Styx Jack In the Box shows. Including one from our friend The Bull.
I had fun with that one!!!!
