The Book I'd like to see

Postby Bearded Clam » Tue Jul 24, 2007 10:23 pm

I'd really love to see a book that goes into detail about how each song was created back in the day. something along the lines of:

" when JY was laying the vocal tracks for ' Winner Take All', we all took turns kicking him in the nuts when he had to that really high note" Chuck mused. " He couldn't walk for a week, but it was worth it"

or

Dennis remembers, " All of the sudden the bathroom door burst open, there's John standing there, a bong in one hand, his pants around his ankles shouting " I've got this great idea for song about toilet seats". "

or

JY thought of the incident after recording ' Jennifer' for Crystal Ball: " Dennis had to sleep on our couch in the basement for a month, Suzanne was convinced Dennis wrote the song about this cute little checkout girl down at the local supermarket".

No need for a book, at this point we know that it was JY who ACTUALLY wrote every song, or they were all his ideas...

well, let's try to avoid the Dennis vs. current lineup in this thread, I paid good money for it.

In fact, let's all join hands and sing ancient Chinese songs about togetherness. Hang on, I'll get the lyrics...
