Should it be released to Christian rock stations in the US/Canada? Would this give it a better chance to get airplay on traditional radio?

Admittedly, I'm a bit out of step with the Contemporary Christian genre, but wouldn't it ruffle some folks' feathers to have their deity referred to as "baby?"
Nevertheless, I think that "Save Me" is a great single and should be released in
some fashion here in the US.

Christian Rock would probably be the best relaease/target market for it. I'm with you on this one. There are religious themes runninf threoughout the whole album.

Did you see "Talladega Nights?" He always prayed to Baby Jesus.
Dennis would have to tweak the lyrics a bit...

Evangelicals would scream that salvation is straightforward through Jesus Christ. Dennis' song reflects some doubt over where salvation will come from.

If they didn't pick up on Hello God (which should be played on Christian radio), then I doubt Save Me would get played.
Can you just imagine the DJ though, "here you go folks, the new single from the former lead singer of a band that 26 years ago we burned their album out front cause they had them backwards satanic messages on it!.. Praise the Lord!"
I can't see it happening..
Praise Jeebus!!

"Dear 8 pound, 6 ounce baby Jesus"

Sure you can. Just play "Forgiveness" first.
