If A Reunion Were To Happen What Would Be Your Line Up?

Even though I am totally against the idea I just think this topic could go well with the other post. I am not dropping anyone because they all have a part in the band and YES that does include larry/ricky.So here is my line up:
Dennis: Keys/vocals
Larry: Keys/vocals Would do keys when dennis is vocal and vice versa
Tommy: Guitar/vocals/mandolin (boat on the river anyone?)
JY: Guitar/vocals
Chuck: Bass guitar when ever possible
Glen: Bass guitar/guitar Both glen/ricky would switch from time to time on bass/guitar and then both would be on guitar when chuck comes on.
Ricky: Already stated what he would do but here it is anyway bass/6 string guitar.
Todd: Drums of course
I know that would be a very crowded stage but I just don't have the heart to drop anyone. They all have brought there own thing into the band. Especially ricky gotta love those hats he has.

Dennis, Tommy, JY, Chuck and Todd. Same as 1996 and 1997.
Glen can help fill in for Chuck when he is not up to it.
That's as Classic as you can get at this point without John.
I have no problem with Todd. He is a great drummer. But I have seen John play many times and he was
VERY good and is very under-rated.

The question does not make sense to me. The point of a "reunion" is to "reunite" people that have been apart. That would mean Styx's classic line-up. If chuck can't play, Glen should take his place since it would be a reunion of sorts for him too (and is someone who has sang lead on a number of Styx songs).
Anything else would be classified as a dream line-up or a favorite line-up but not a reunion.

I say dump todd and bring in Steve Smith
This would make the classic line up the strongest ever.

Wow that's a first..
Why replace Todd? He's EARNED his spot in Styx.. He was the one that played drums on "Lady" and on Little Suzie when John couldn't.
Why replace him with a guy who's really not had any dealings with Styx (okay he played on Shaw Blades Hallucination album) ? I know Steve's an excellent drummer, but so is Todd..
Sorry, Todd stays!

Dump Todd..that is crazy. He has put in 11 years with the group now and deserves to stay.

Too many players. Ricky is not needed if Glen is back. If by a FAT chance a reunion would happen again, it should be DDY, TS, JY, TS and GB or Ricky with Chuck playing a few songs. Makes no sense to have Gowan and Dennis. Dennis can play the keys...if the group would be willing to go that far, Dennis needs to play keys. I for one don't want to see him with Styx standing out front for all his songs and playing bit parts on others.

For the last time
You will never see Gowan and dennis on the same stage
Forget it
Gowan ruined Styx and butchered Dennis songs
How can you possibly see him other than a limo driver when the reunion hits
Dennis' "return" would not be "oermanent"

it would most probably be for a show or two - perhaps contributing a couple of songs to one "last gasp" Styx album - a sort of "curtain call" and a "before we die" peace treaty between JY and Dennis.
The "lineup" would be:
Dennis: Vocals/keys
Tommy: Vocals/guitar
JY: Vocals/Guitar
Ricky: Bass
Todd: Drums
LG: Vocals/accoustic piano/keys
Glenn: Vocals/Guitar
Chuck: Bass
It would be a big "party" - "The World of Styx: 1976 to 2008 (or whenever)" type of 'event' that would play well in markets like Chicago, Milwaukee, other midwestern cities, some southern cities and parts of Canada.
"NewStyx" would continue touring as they do today. Some of the goodwill built up from the 'mega reunion,' however, will allow NewStyx to play out and make a few $$ a bit longer than they otherwise would have.

To quote the comedian "Larry the Cable guy"....
"I don't care who you are, that's funny, right there!"
