That was great... I can't believe Styx let him go... if I was Tommy or JY, I'd offer a cut of my take every night to keep him in the band.

Seriously, will you ever be content with the answer, or will you continue to lobby for the one you want to hear?

Only one member of Styx was "gotten rid of". Glen left voluntarily, as did Tommy Shaw and John Curulewski before him.

The one I want to hear is that they stupidly got rid of him, thinking they would be way better without him, and that hiring some lame Scottish guy attempting to sing DDY's parts would return them to arena-headlining status. Sound good? :D

In all seriousness, I never knew why Glen left/got canned.

OK, in that case:

They stupidly got rid of him, thinking they'd be way better off without him and that hiring some lame Scottish guy attempting to sing DDY's parts would return them to arena-headlining status.

Yeah and I'm sure he's making close to the money he was when he was with Styx. He's a homebody like your boy Dennis....not meant for life on the road and it's really too bad on both accounts.

Both those men -- Dennis and Glen -- have their priorities straight, in my view.
