Personally, the credo that I go by is that there's enough room for everybody. I do have a preference for one, but have gone to see both and enjoyed the shows immensely.

I agree, to an extent. One of the reasons for the bitterness and "sides" is because that is how it started out. The waters have calmed considerably since then and, as we see, Dennis' new album is all about letting go and moving on.
While I can never be a fan of all the music made by Current Styx, I can certainly appreciate some of it, and I do.
I will not be going to a concert of theirs either standing on the front row booing or standing in the back row listening. I do appreciate the fact that those who do go and enjoy the band these days all come back with a smile and a great enjoyment for what they have seen/heard.
I WILL continue to support Dennis' career wholeheartedly and the more he does as a solo artist, the more I like it.
Do I pledge not to snark occasionally. Well....no, but I will try to, uh, restrain myself a bit more.
