During the edge tour that is. Although all I can say for glen's versions of tommy's songs is yak, I would've like to heard them do those two. Just curious as to why they didn't.

probably because of time constraints. they did TMT, BCM, and Renegade- arguably tommy's most well known songs. In addition, glen sang on Snowblind, LITR, EOTC, World Tonight & AIADY. That's quite a big chunk of the set right there! (judging from my st. louis bootleg. i wasn't at any of the '91 shows). If he sang on one or two more, they prob would have had to change the name of the band to Glen Burtnik & Styx. ;)

Saw them at Mud Island in 91, and Glen did good, and had a good size of songs to sing. Not bad for a new guy. Shame as a returning guy in 99 he got to sing one or two songs. Big disappointment-ERIC

Big difference when the band is no longer promoting the album that he wrote much of the material on and the singer you replaced was back in the band.

Still it would have been nice to get him two or three songs in the set.

Still, even on Cyo. Glen only got to one song from Cyc, and one from Edge. Waste of a good singer not sing more-ERIC

I can't say for sure but I think Glen would probaby have a bit of a problem fingerpicking Crystal Ball considering he plays the guitar upside down. He's not as good of a fingerstyle guitarist as Tommy.
