Rockin' the San Francisco Apple Store

To everyone who joined me at the Apple store in San Francisco last night, thanks for coming down to my first in-store appearance to discuss the making of "Everything All The Time: the video."

I hope you got a sense of the process, the fun, the obsession and the finished video. Most of all, I hope you saw how you can do it too--that's really the message.

A special thanks to my two lovely volunteers who got to experience a hands on lesson, so to speak... ;-)

If you are in the Los Angeles area, I hope you'll join me in Santa Monica for the next one!

TS

Anyone went? I didn't. Who cares anyway.

I do. I have actually made films. How about you Froy? Any clue on how to make an actual film on Mac?

Think then about how cool it would be to actually inspire someone to make a film...or music video. I know that you don't care, but others do.

So Next Yourself.

Someone better tell Tommy to knock off the hanky-panky. He's already got four alimony payments to make each month, and if he keeps this up he's likely to get sued for sexual harassment too.

Not quite sure that's what he meant, but just because some people actually get laid, doesn't mean you should be bitter about it.

His financial status was one of the reasons that they had to tour in 1997 which combined with the Hunchback work caused DDY to get so sick.

I agree. The video is like the song...boring...and too damn repetitive.

Boy, Tommy's songwriting skills have fallen off...the same guy that gave us Foolin Yourself, Crystal Ball, Boat On The River, Lights, Renegade, et al is now writing crap like this, Waiting For Our Time, and Just Be....

Oh, dear. I didn't know that. Was he that broke? Where was all the money from the band he did, Damn Yankess?

Oh, without a doubt. If Rajah says it, it must be true.

When I read DDY interview with Andrew, he mentioned that to and I thought it was Jy, And Tommy, with DY and all, I don't know.

You're right. I've been married for eight years and have more kids than you..so of course I don't get laid at all.

Tommy needs to learn to control his libido, or he will wind up with a fifth alimony payment.

And to what do you base this assessment that he doesn't - and what do you know of his alimony payments?

Tommy had bought a house in a swanky neighborhood underneath the Hollywood sign in the same time frame. You're probably not going to be able to buy one of those homes if you're having money problems. I highly doubt that was the catalyst for a reunion tour.

I'll be honest with you. When people tell me by and large shitty things about the other guys, it doesn't really make me happy. Because I believe that any insult to any of us is an insult to Styx

Except the difference being: JY doesn't give a shit about making Dennis happy. YOU do.

I'm sorry. I imagine this question has been asked and answered a few times on this board but, being on dial-up, it takes too long to search. I saw Styx in August of 1999 and Dennis wasn't there. What happened to him? I mean, I've read something with his eyes. :?: Is that all it was? :?

And Styx didn't exactly broadcast the news that DDY was no longer with them, did they? Better to clam up and sell tickets, hoping that no one would notice.

DDY wussed out on the tour because he had some kind of light aversion disorder with his eyes. Since that time JY has been bad-mouthing him.

They said something about it. Yes, "broadcast" it to everybody. I don't remember what they said, though. My memory is bad. Old age, I guess. I'd have to ask my sister.

So, you think Dennis was a "wuss"?
