Btw.. Micheal Lardie is back with Great White, so this past summer's NR dates, some guy name Chris has been their keyboardist.. His name is on the tip of my tongue, but I can't remember.. Andrew had it posted about a month or so ago..

They really do seem to be acquitting themselves well, especially DLR. Better the expectations I had, anyway. If they extend the tour and get around to my neck of the woods next year, I'll definitely be checking it out.

Yeah, that is weird, considering that they used to tune down on almost everything for DLR back in the day. I'd also think "Jump" would be more comfortable guitar-wise in C rather than C#, so I wonder why the change.jimmy19029 wrote:A musician friend of mine who also saw the show didn't think they were using tapes or sampled back up vocals but were probably using a harmonizer on Eddie & Wolfie that keeps the vocals in tune and provides automatic harmony vocals....not a lip synch, but then not totally live either, really.....Alot performers today use this from what I've heard.
Dunno about VH, but yeah, it's getting more widespread. IMO it's pretty astounding, in a sci-fi sort of way, that they can get that sort of thing working in real time now.
Especially here in Nashville . . . from Shania, to Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Sara Evans, and on and on and on, it would actually be shorter to list the artists here who CAN sing than the ones who can't. PATHETIC.
Ahhhh, a rant. Very cleansing!
