It started while Styx was on tour and one day they realized how much stuff they were throwing away and progressed to using biodiesel when they could get it. It appears that he has found a way to get access to it while on the Shaw Blades dates. At Chicago, Jack and Tommy made a quip about it, but it makes more sense with this blog. Tommy also mentioned in a recent article somewhere that they were adding the solar panels to the reconstruction at his home.

surely that wasn't about drugs.dennis would NEVER sing about anything of the sort. they're illegal, ya know, and he's such a moral and righteous person- he'd never stoop down to the level of heathens like JY and tommy (as per snowblind). and how about chuck for that matter. he's a homosexual. he should burn in hell like the rest of them! I don't know HOW someone like dennis ever managed to coexist with the likes of them for so many years.

styxfanNH wrote:ONe of the issues with biodiesal is that it use food resources. Some of it is made with corn, sugarbeets, etc and when those resources are used for biodiesel then food prices increase. Corn is used for biodiesel then there is less corn used for food; less corn for food means higher prices for food and it also means higher prices for feed corn, meaning higher prices for meats. The trickle down effect is huge as you can see how this transfers. The problem isn't the increased food prices, the problem is that right now additional crops aren't being grown for biodiesel. I would guess that in time this would change.
