I highly doubt that. I've known Zan and Stacy going on 12 years or so and they certainly have better taste than trolls. I think Supertramp made a song about you, here it is:

So call and tell them you want it played. We base how long we play new songs from old artists by listeners reaction. We played "Don't You Wish It Were True" for a while, but it's a bit bouncy for classic rock. Since then, we've been playing "Summer of Love" for about a month now. In fact, I just played it yesterday.

If you want new music on the radio.... act, don't bitch.

Angie, I think it's well established that you work for what amounts to the coolest station left in America. For the REST of the "clear channel" nation...not so lucky. We have three big rock stations in my area, and not a one has touched it OR the new Springsteen. Only the college station, which only broadcasts music for about 8 hours out of the day/

What can I do when the Music director has allready made up his mind?

I have never heard of that.
Don't they call to tell what they do want to hear?
Radio ain't what it used to be.
Maybe that is why I don't listen to radio that much.Too predictable and repetitive.

That's because it doesn't happen. Very lame excuse. "Didn't test well" I can almost buy, but there's no way the folks they tested it with were local listeners.

I concur that not only is Angie's station the exception to the rule -- it's on an Endangered Species list somewhere.
