I am not defending Rajah or anything he has ever said, done, pretended to be, etc. I am guessing that most of his offenses were done in the past since most of what I have seen just consists of an angry DDY fan - but I don't read every thread. Once again, what I object to are all the insinuations that anyone who doesn't appreciate the new version of Styx is a sock puppet of this guy. Every new person that comes on this board that doesn't like new Styx is labelled as this.
Note to fans of new Styx : There are plenty of people who don't like it. Just like there are plenty of people who don't like what DDY has done. I, personally, like Styx from 1972-1983. I don't like the incarnations after that. I also didn't care all that much for DDY's solo stuff until "100 years" came out (which ranks up there, for me, with the best of classic Styx). I did like Hunchback - but as for his pop stuff - not my cup of tea. I have absolutely hated most of what has come out under the name "Styx" since the early '80s breakup. That includes EOTC and crap like "It Takes Love". That also includes this current line-up which I think is just sad. BUT... I aboslutely like the Shaw Blades stuff (and think Tommy is better served artistically in this format anyway).
So, in anycase, I should be at the Clearwater Florida DDY show if anyone wants to see if I really am Rajah.

I would say you are blowing this out of proportion. It was well suspected and now we know that Rajah was using different names. Whoever wrote that post about everyone being a personality of Rajah, was being sarcastic. I think that most of us here would rather discuss things and not go with the personal attacks that Rajah would put on everyone. Including the standard degredation of all things not Dennis.
Overall, we are a pretty tolerant bunch and have great appreciation for all members past and present. Of course, many have their favorite members or eras, but that is true of all bands. IF you go back to when 100 years was released, no one here trashed the album. Most had something positive to say about it, even when Dennis may not have been that persons cup of tea. There just isn't the ability to discuss things, when all one has to say is the band sucks, you suck, everyone but Dennis sucks. All here would agree with you that there are some people that don't like either camp. But the truth is there are many, like myself, that like both. And as Zan continues to say, we should all be grateful that they all appear to be in great health and we should be thankful that they are able to bring us some incarnation of the music.
