I disagree. JY is metal. Listen to all of his work in Styx. He could have fit in nicely with all the metal bands of the era. I truly wish Styx had given him more than 1-2 songs an album - it woudl have given them a lot more street cred in the rock and heavy metal circles.

I guess those same standards for defining Heavy Metal is what won Jethro Tull that Grammy some years ago.
