If there was ever an "Influence: Volume 2" CD, and you could request a song, what would you like to hear Shaw Blades cover?

I mentioned a sequal to Jack, who said yeah, it would be more fun....but no plans right now.

Funny you should mention this. I was backstage with a couple of buddies at the Wendover show and Tommy mentioned this very thing.

It' would be interesting if they did some covers as well as some of the live stuff they do - for example, getting Tommy singing "Sister Christian" on tape. That acoustic version of BCM is good as well. I'd love to hear Renegade done the same way.

Influence 2?

Well, I'd rather they were writing...but anything that keeps them working and playing together is fine by me.

Someone on the MySpace site mentioned Queen's "39." That would be an excellent choice, IMO.

I got "Influence" off amazon.com. An absolute gem.

The 2 songs I'd love on a volume 2 is "Fire and Rain" by James Taylor and "Play me" by Neil Diamond.

They'd do a good job on both.

April Wine's 'Just Between You and Me', and Gordon Lightfoots 'Sundown' would be the perfect songs for Tommy & Jack to sing.

Wow, that really would be cool. I'd forgotten all about that song, but I've always loved it.

How about "And I really want to see you tonight".. name of the duo escapes me right now, but Jack and Tommy would do a great job of it.

I'm with you on those two. I'd also like to hear some of the songs they have written that others have recorded

England Dan and John Ford Coley "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight." As I recall, they did some nice harmony songs. I like this one as well, Jodes.

While the originals may not have harmonies in them, I would love to hear them sing

Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald (Gordon Lightfoot)
Kathy's Song (Simon & Garfunkle)
Battle of Evermore (Zeppelin)
