OT NIU Shootings

Could you all do me a little favor and say a prayer for or keep in your thoughts the families of the victims of todays shooting at the NIU campus in DeKalb IL? It hit a little close to home because friends of my nephew go there but I got a comfirmation from him that they're ok

those kids are definately in my thoughts........
and these incidents keep happening, I know many consider it heresy, but should it really be as easy to get guns in this country as it is ? is THIS what the framers of the constitution had in mind ?
I wonder what they would say today........

A co-worker's son attends there. He is okay. I find it disturbing that so many of these incidents are occurring at schools. I am not a fan of guns myself. And the ease with which one can procure them is quite frightening to me. I understand that view isn't shared by everyone, but for me...I'll pass.
My prayers to the victims loved ones.

Like I said in the Journey forum...IL has pretty strict laws concerning purchasing and owning fire arms. You need a FOID (Fire Arm Owners ID) card and get a background check before you're able to purchase a weapon.
