Prowling in progarchives.com ,I was checking out Styx reviews.
A reviewer named GATOT,mentioned that Christopher,Mr Christopher,was a hit in Indonesia.
Who would have thought.
And yes. This is not another early April fools.

OK, I believe you!

Maybe St. Christopher was a more popular Non-Saint in Indonesia?

Hmmm . . . not so sure I believe that "Christopher, Mr. Christopher" was a hit in Indonesia, LOL. I don't know how on Earth that would have happened, since Wooden Nickel could not even get records played in the USA. It would be interesting if that were true, but I'm pretty skeptical about that one.

I hope all is well.

Well,the reviewer is from Indonesia.
I don't know why he would make it up.
But hey.I am sure we are not talking sales in the millions.
Who knows how a hit is defined there.
Maybe you could ask him. :)

When I was over there shooting photos of their Olympic Hockey Team I would hear that song all the time on 97.8 'The Whale'.

Actually for the weeks of 9-19 -75 thru 9 -29- 75 Christopher Mr. Christopher(Wooden Nickel Styx) was a #1 song in Indonesia. Check out 'The Whale 97.8' archives page www.indo97.8whale9-19-9-2975.com. It is all there for you to read.

Oh, well hell, man, I don't want to argue with GATOT at progarchives.com . . . shit, he's the Dan Rather of rock music, LOL.

No, seriously, it's the one and only reference to this I find in an online search, which tends to make me think it's incorrect. Not that I spent a lot of time on it, LOL. I'm open to anyone proving me wrong with a more legitimate source.

I hope all is well.
