Having heard this before...I think Private Jones needs work. I'll reserve saying more until I hear it a few more times.

Thank you for sharing this.

What type of file was the Clearwater show? For file type it just says file and when I try to open it asks what program to use.

Definitely not ready for prime time at this show.

100 Years is nice. Ditto the rest of the concert.

The original torrent was FLAC. Not sure about this one from this site.

I dig the fact that he was willing to debut it regardless, though. The do-over chorus was a fun bit.

Pretty cool show in general. Is this the new drummer?

Tom Sharpe was directing the orchestra. Kyle Woodring on drums.

I thought, overall, it sounded great. Dennis was in fine voice for this one, no question.

The compressed file is in *.rar format and you will need a program called winrar to open it. The files inside this rar file are *.mp3. I mainly use winamp to open them and others.

Thanks

MP3s? Ugh. Forget about gapless or any quality. I wish people would do it right.

Thanks. I guess I'll delete and download again as it was not a rar.

Not sure if these will be any help or not. They are Quebec shows and not Montreal.

Agreed. They just need a bit more practice. They're definately capable of better. :-)

For a few seconds in the song though, I thought he was going to segue into an Elvis or a Billy Squire song! I can't remember the name of the song at the moment .... Old age, yaknow!

You have REALLY helped bring a smile to my face, thank you so much!

I was sitting in the front row RIGHT IN FRONT of Tommy on the 23rd. He was playing a solo at the very edge of the stage (he was so close I could have tied his shoes) and he looked away from his guitar for a second and rewarded me with a smile that reached all the way to his eyes. At the risk of sounding like a lovestruck teenager, my stomach did a flip and I blushed red as a beet ... Sigh. I got to meet him that night and my girlfriend told him that I was his biggest Canadian fan. Got a pic with him. I trembled for an hour afterwards. I got to meet him again in Montreal later that month. I was steadier on my feet that time! LOL!

I had forgotten that Dennis had flubbed the words to Castle Walls that night and started over. We got a good laugh over that, especially when Hank razzed him about having alzheimers. What a great night that was .....

An hour out of Montreal. 45 minutes if I'm driving. ;-) I drove back to Montreal at midnight from this concert.

There's quite a bit of "The Stroke" in that tune.

That's the one! So it's not just me then .... That isn't going to cause a problem for Dennis, is it?

Maybe it's shorter on the Québec side.
Closer to 3 hours to Montreal when we drive, depending on how often we stop.

Allan, no worries I have the Clearwater and Fort Lauterdale (and also the Gatineau shows) in the original lossless format. If anyone is interested, I also have many Styx, Van Halen and the Night Ranger set from Clearwater as well.
