Noticed there are a few new Crib Letters on dennisdeyoung.com. One I thought I would post here. Figured someone here could help Dennis and Suzanne with it :D. The other Crib questions are preety much the same thing as usuall.

In the early to mid 80's, Dennis and or Styx had a song that played at old Comiskey Park about the White Sox at the beginning or during the game. I was trying to find a recording of that song or trying to figure the name of it as well. Any help would be appreciated.

Bob

Dear Bob,
I believe the song you are referring to is called, "Run Sox Run." Dennis can't seem to find a copy of it. He believes he gave the original to the White Sox to play, via our friend Tony LaRussa. Hopefully someone out there has a copy to send us. If they do, I'll make it down loadable.
I'll keep you posted!

Suzanne

I have been trying to get a copy of this song as well. I have heard it played at the US Cellular field numerous times. It is basically 'Southbound Ryan' with different lyrics.

I am a season ticket holder for the Sox and I sent an e-mail to my ticket rep to tell the sound engineer at the ballpark to get a hold of Dennis via his website.
