Fun with Styx

Alright, I kinda had a thought based sort of on Zan's Star Trek post...

Pick 5 members past/present of Styx and stick with them. Who would they be?

Now, the point of this is, there's been an unreleased album found and it's a remake of another band's album.

Pick any album you wish, but say it's Meat Loaf's "Bat out of Hell" album you chose. Who sings what song?

Is Tommy, Glen, DDY, JY, John C, or Larry singing, "Paradise by the Dashboard Light"?

OK, I'll bite...sort of How about the soundtrack for the wizard of OZ.......

I think Tommy's the only one cute enough to sing "Somewhere over the rainbow" and somehow, I can imagine JY singing the Tin Mans "if I only had a heart" As for the Munchkins.....( do I have to spell this one out ??? ) Ricky seems like a fit for the scarecrows singing parts.....what to do with Dennis ???? The Cowardly Lion doesnt have many singing lines, but can you picture hin reciting the Lions speech about courage ????

I can also see JY as the Lion though...........if So, DDY could be the wizard himself !

I'm not sure I follow this idea, Rowdy, but if I had to pick 5 living members for a permanent forever-type Styx, I guess I'd wanna go with who's there now but with Chuck on bass full-time. That makes the most sense, even though I will always miss the lefty with the crazy hair in that band.

If they could redo an existing album done by another artist or band, I honestly can't say there's anything that jumps out at me. I'd rather choose random covers ala BBT pt. 2 or something. Perhaps The Beatles Abbey Road? Bah. I dunno, but Gowan would do a nice job on "Golden Slumbers," I think.

That was kinda a tough one to call who should sing it, but ultimately I thought the song fit Glen better than Tommy, JY, or JC. Not my fave Queen song, but someone had to sing it. lol and Tommy got enough songs

And on a side note, I think DDY would do better at most of these songs, but I didn't want him in the line-up.
