I left after they kicked us out from the stage. If it was indeed canceled I hope they will be giving out refunds. So did anyone stay?

Most definitely. In fact, some weather-related close calls from what I understand.

A few tornados hit down about 45 minutes from the venue. Also many people couldn't even make it in due to 894 being shut down and quite a few city streets were flooded. My shoes are still drenched from walking under that tent!

I was looking so forward to seeing Dennis' concert last night. I ended up still having a great time in the building watching the other shows that were going on.

Tickets from last nights show can be used for tonight's Roger Hodgson show.

Wow that sounds like the Minnedosa Manitoba show that I went to back in 01.. Nasty weather, 18 inches of rain, funnel clouds, lightening strikes like half a mile away, etc.

The show was in a natural amphitheater "bowl". By time I left the stage and got to the walkway out of it, water was halfway up the shin and rising fast.

Yet there were idiots in the crowd calling the bands "pussies" for not going out and playing.

It takes all types.

Is it just me or is the weather in the US getting worse every year?

In Chicago the weather everyday is horrible
9 months straight every day horrible
Wind - Cold - Rain everyday
Ridiculous

Then add 4 dollars a gallon and you have a real bad deal.

Seems pretty bad this summer, at least in the Midwest. It sure is messing up a lot of the outdoor festivals.

And if it is not raining and hailing, it is oppressively hot.

Froy, I thought you were in Wisconsin.....sure it's been rainy (and pretty stormy too) here lately but we've also had quite a few days of ample sunshine and heat. Been monitoring the weather up there in Cheeseheadland since I have family up that way, my sister's close to the Mississippi and my boyfriend has family in Madison and Marshall WI :(

Robin :?

Sorry to hear that Froy.

As Canadians, we get a lot of US news feeds (Fox, CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN) and it just seems that the extreme weather is happening more and more stateside.

Yes we get flooding, tornados (just had one here south of Edmonton on Friday night) hail, hurricanes (on the east coast) etc but it just doesn't seem like its as extreme as our southern neighbors.

Down right scary if you ask me!

Definitely scary...we had a couple tornados touchdown about 15-20 miles from me down the I-57 corridor in Cook and Will County, they had to close part of the interstate to clear debris and downed power lines :?

I'm not sure, but I think he completed his term in office as the Styx whipping boy.
