OT - Ringo Starr and his all Starr Band

Ok Classic Rockers, if you want to catch a great show this summer, I highly recommend Ringo and his all Starr Band. The family went down to the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the 4th to catch this show and it was fantastic. This version of the All Starrs includes(in alphabetical order): Colin Hay, Billy Squier, Hamish Stuart, Edgar Winter, and first timer Gary Wright and on drums, Gregg Bissonette. Each performer had his own solo spots and all of these guys are still excellent musicians. Good one to take the kids to as well, no smoking and no foul language coming from the stage. Ringo himself at 68 is still quite the performer. Concert highlights included: first time hearing Dream Weaver, Edgar Winter playing everything during Frankenstine, Hamish Stuart singing a Leon Russel song on acoustic (can't remember the name) but it drew a nice ovation, Billy Squire playing anything and Ringo singing Photograph.

I saw Ringo with his last all star band. A really great show. Ringo solo, Ringo Beatles, and All Star solos. A very diverse grouping of music that will entertain you the whole night long.

I was at the same show and very much enjoyed it. Edgar Winter was amazing. I did think the crowd was pretty dead for a freaking Beatle in Biloxi, Ms. My son kept asking how old Ringo was? He couldn't believe he was in his sixties, he was guessing 40's. Catch it if you can.

My little girl was a bit more critical, she thought he was a bad dancer. She loves the Beatles though. I have seen Paul a few times, first time for Mr Starkey.
