here's a bit of irony....

after dinner this evening we got in the car, and heard "The Grand Illusion" live on one of the local radio stations, "the Bone." I immediately knew it was todd on drums (it was during one of the guitar solos) and sure enough, there was larry singing. this was the first time i can recall hearing a live styx track played on the radio that didn't feature the classic lineup. sure enough, it was from the arch allies cd. after they played the song, they mentioned it was chuck & john's bday, which was very cool.

but, as i mentioned, we found it a bit ironic that they chose to play a song neither of the birthday-boys actually appeared on. ;)
