Styx, San Antonio, Texas 12-13-08 listed on their web site playing the Alamodome. No listing at Pollstar or the Alamodome site. This is a HUGE venue, 65,000 seats, for them to be playing. Anyone know what event that might be???? I may have to go to that. If I do, Yogi, you know you'll have to go too--

They would have to be warming up the warmups warmup.

The only other way would be if this were the Raised On Rodeo Tour that Journey played a while back.

But that date is waaaayyyyy tooooooo early for the SanAntonio Stockshow & Rodeo.

Responding to my own post, I found the TRUTHFUL answer to Styx playing the Alamodome.

Notre Dame plays a football game there that day at 11:30am.

Styx takes the stage at 5pm

and finally, at 7:30 there is a Monster Truck show


$ 65 dollars gets you in to see ALL 3 events that day(cheapest ticket).


$ 450.00 gets you the best seats to all three events.

I can confirm that Styx is playing a private party for 10,000-15,000 employees for a company xmas party, past performers have been Chicago, Foreigner, Doobie Brothers. Lonestar will also appear at this xmas party.

That'd be a helluva Christmas Party!!!!!!!! I wish my employer would book STYX, but I'm sure we'll have one of our women strumming a guitar and forcing everyone to join in................
