I've got Houston, how do I post an MP3 file?

upload it to

http://www.yousendit.com/

and post the link here.

If it is multiple mp3's, zip them into one file and then post it.

If it is too large for http://www.yousendit.com/

try http://www.megaupload.com/

According to Styx Management on BTM the booing at the Houston concert should have drowned out any aduio of the show.

Nope
That movie was a vital piece of the Show Opener.
No way could they have started the show without the movie.

They couldn't have done the rock opera thing, but they COULD have gone out and just played a helluva concert for the audience that came to see them.

Oh, give me a f*ckin' break, Froy. The band had been playing concerts for years. You're telling me they weren't professional enough to just gather set list and play music? They had to cancel their show because a PROP broke?

SPARE me.

Im sure the lighting was all synced up and they would have had to take down all the props
I agree I could have seen a special show if they would have done it
I have no objections to it.
But the opener was great it led right into the show..

Froy - yes, there were computer lights back in 1983, but Styx was doing a stage show essentially. It's not like, say, Rush's mid-80s shows where you had video, live elements, and lights all having to sync up via SMPTE. Styx could have easily just done a concert with "improvised" and live lights.

I agree with you on all counts (shocker)!

But I still think an impromptu live show would have been way better than turning away thousands of fans. I doubt many here would disagree. In fact, I'm willing to bet some of the band members would have even agreed (maybe even preferred). LOL
