Paradise Theater VS Hi Infidelity

Postby Everett » Wed Oct 15, 2008 10:28 am

I've been listening to both albums recentley and although paradise theater is better hi infidelity is in the same league. So to those who were around when those albums were released I ask your opinion which is better:: Paradise Theater or Hi Infidelity?

Hi Infidelity was much better. Styx "jumped the shark" with Cornerstone and Paradise Theater confirmed it. REO did the same with Hi Infidelity, but at least there were a few good rockers on it. It was downhill from there for REO even though I really do like Find Your Way Back Home. That CD really grew on me, just as Cyclorama did.

Hands down Hi Infidelity.

That's find your own way home. No biggie that album really does rock though. Best thing they have done since hi infidelity.

paradise vs. high

Paradise blows it away. Snowblind alone is better than every song on High all put together.

I think PT is a better album as a whole, but in my memory High Infidelity got a lot more airplay at the time. Could have been my geographical area but I just don't remember anything from PT on the radio that much.
