I saw Brad Gillis in the Nady booth. He was playing through the Nady amps. A couple of us stood there listening to him play. I have a video of that I'll post.

Later on Saturday afternoon I went up to the Taylor booth around 4:30 to see Tommy and Jack play. Nice little stage with about 100-125 people in the room. I recorded some of the songs including Brad sitting in on Don't Tell Me You Love Me. It was all on acoustic. Pretty neat.

I have "Too Much Time on My Hands" online already here. http://community.totalcontrolaudio.com/ ... 60687.html

Also saw and/or talked with Hugh McDonald, Dave Amato, Brian Hitt, Ron Wikso, Eric Johnson, Jeff Scott Soto, Mickey Dolenz, Rudy Sarzo, Steve Morse (on my plane too), Howard Leese, Ron Nevison (he was standing next to me watching Shaw/Blades), Steve Via, Sheila E, Tim Luce ...and a bunch of others too.

Gillis was using Nady? God, Nady is junk....
Mickey Dolenz- say what you want about Mickey, that guy can (or could) really sing. The Monkees "Goin' Down" is really a cool vocal track:

Mickey still has it. If you can find it, pick up the Monkees last album they did together back in 1996 called "Justus". Mickey is also on tour in March in Tampa FL with his band.

yup- she moved from arizona to tampa about 2 or 3 years ago. which just goes to prove that every NYer WILL eventually end up (much to zan's chagrin) in florida. ;)

I was supposed to move to Florida in two months. Zan will be happy to hear that I will no longer be making the move.

Actually, I have the cassette of Justus. Wasn't that impressed, but it wasn't horrible either.

Hee, hee!

My husband has been consulting for a company that has been dangling a position in Jacksonville to him, but haven't given him actual numbers yet. :? I know absolutely nothing about the area or of anyone who does.

The thought of moving there isn't exactly exciting to me unless the salary is good... which I'm suspecting won't be the greatest. I'm also not looking forward to the prospect of having to sell our house up here in the current market.

we almost moved there 2 years ago, but then the opportunity in texas presented itself. a MUCH better move for us. florida is no bargain- houses are over priced, taxes and insurance are very high. there is no state income tax though, which does help. good luck with whatever you decide on doing! :D
