Just like when Tommy went solo...remember how he was going to rock! And then he put out that head banging Girls With Guns and Lonely School as his first two singles..man I just about broke my neck banging to those killer heavy tunes...

"My head was so full of rock songs, with no outlet for them" TS on BTM complaining about Kilroy. So yes he put out the rock anthem Girls with Guns, and don't forget Little Girl World. Lets be honest, the only thing these guys are doing different without DDY is touring non stop, even Damn Yankees had a couple of slow tunes. High Enough is a ballad and was probably their best tune.

Yay for Dennis! He may do some really good things solo. Get Hunchback produced. Maybe it will even win an award! Put out a really, really good album. (None of that Brave New World crap. ) Tour in Europe. Appear on National TV. Gosh. His prospects are endless!

And Styx will be playing 20,000 seat arenas in 2009 on tour with other bands of the 70s and 80s while DDY spends another summer at my local rib fest because no one wants him on a nationally sponsored tour. He has never been on a real tour since Styx woke up and left his ass behind. (Unless you count rib fests and chili cook offs within 50 miles from his house and a few small free shows in Canada).

I think it was actually Ambition where he didn't do most of the writing. The only song he didn't have a "co-write" on was the best song on that album... Lay Them Down.
